About Us
Sunrise is home to Sawgrass Mills — the largest outlet mall in the United States, with 2.3 million square feet and 350 retailers drawing shoppers from across the tri-county region and beyond. Sunrise residents who shop at Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Gucci at Sawgrass are exactly the kind of people who own designer bags that eventually need professional care. A zipper that fails after years of daily use. Leather that has faded through too many South Florida summers. Hardware that has gone from gold to green from the coastal humidity. Sawgrass sells you the bag — Artbag restores it when the time comes.
Artbag serves Sunrise from our Coral Springs workshop at 927 N. University Drive — roughly 15 minutes northeast via the Sawgrass Expressway or Commercial Boulevard. Since 1932, we have restored the world’s finest designer bags for 90 years on Manhattan’s Madison Avenue. Sunrise residents now have that same expertise right across Broward County.

About Us
Sunrise occupies a unique position in Broward County — its western border meets the Everglades Wildlife Management Area, placing the city at the edge of one of the most humid ecosystems in North America. Year-round humidity peaking at 85–90% through summer, combined with Sunrise’s position between coastal salt air to the east and Everglades moisture to the west, creates persistently challenging conditions for luxury leather. Mold establishes in stored bags quickly. Edge glazing fails. Canvas coatings degrade from UV exposure. Hardware corrodes from airborne salt. Hurricane season, June through November, adds flooding risk and rapid humidity swings that can damage a bag within days. The designer pieces Sunrise residents shop for at Sawgrass Mills deserve the same quality of care they were built with — and that is what Artbag delivers.

Handbag Repairs
Why Choose Us
Artbag has one craftsman leading every restoration — owner Chris Moore, a third-generation master who learned the craft from his father Donald Moore, who trained under founder Hillel Tenenbaum starting in 1959. This is not a multi-branch operation with rotating staff. It is a family practice with 90+ years of unbroken heritage, now based in Coral Springs and serving Sunrise with the same care that made Artbag one of the most respected names in luxury handbag restoration in the country.
